Virtual birthday card template

One year, my sister and I had the idea to make a website as a "birthday card" for our mom's birthday, since we were all away from each other at the time. (Then later repurposed it for our dad, haha)

I liked the idea of using the web as something other than a "normal" website, and I loved the outcome too. So I decided to share it with the internet and make it a customizable template for other people to send birthday wishes to their loved ones.

The website has moving faces that disappear as you hover over them and reveal a message behind them.
